Grand Prix Museum

Every November, the streets of Macao transform into one of the most thrilling and dangerous racetracks on the planet. And this museum, completely reimagined after a spectacular renovation in 2021, is where you come to feel the roar of engines and the rush of adrenaline even when the race is months away. The Macau Grand Prix has been running since 1954, making it one of the oldest and most prestigious street races in motorsport. What makes the Guia Circuit so legendary is that it threads through the actual city streets, with cars hurtling past apartment buildings, scraping guardrails on hairpin bends, and reaching terrifying speeds on the waterfront straight. There is no room for error. The walls are close, the elevation changes are dramatic, and the mix of fast straights and tight corners makes it a supreme test of skill and nerve. Spread across four floors and sixteen thousand square metres, the museum is packed with iconic racing machines. You will see the actual cars driven by some of the greatest names in motorsport history, including machines piloted by Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher, and David Coulthard during their formative years. The Macau Grand Prix has always been a proving ground...
